Meet Joe Tichio
Joe Tichio, Manager & President of United Medical Evaluators, LLC, brings over 20 years of experience in medical-legal administration and a 25-year background as a licensed chiropractor, former Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), and QME continuing education instructor.
Having both performed and taught medical-legal evaluations, Joe offers a rare, dual perspective on the clinical, administrative, and legal challenges that physicians face in QME practice.
His mission is simple: protect doctors’ time, strengthen their reputation, and eliminate the administrative burden — while ensuring full compliance with California’s QME regulations and reporting standards.
Known for his personalized, detail-oriented approach, Joe works closely with each physician to ensure that every evaluation reflects their expertise, professional voice, and commitment to accuracy.
When he’s not streamlining QME operations, Joe enjoys time with his wife and children, hiking local trails, and tending to his home garden.
